We are on a mission to empower vulnerable teen moms in Kajiado, Kenya. Offering them a second chance at a brighter future. The Kenswed Girls Empowerment Program serves as a beacon of hope, particularly in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, acknowledging the unique challenges faced by teen moms. Our focus is clear, sponsorship for teen moms aged 9 to 15, providing them with comprehensive support that includes education, quality healthcare, shelter, and childcare. For those above 16 years old, we offer socio-economic empowerment training, equipping them with skills to meet the needs of their families.

At Kenswed, we are committed to transforming the lives of young girls who have faced unimaginable hardships. Many of these girls have been victims of teenage pregnancy, FGM, forced into child marriages, and as a result, they are now mothers themselves while still being children. Despite their painful pasts, they are working hard to reclaim their future through education and support.
Currently, these brave girls are living in a shelter provided by Kenswed, but they lack some important items that can make a huge difference in their daily lives and educational journey.
We are raising funds to provide them with the following:
A Fridge
To store essential food items and medicines, which will improve their health and the care they can provide for their babies.
A Tablet
To help them access learning materials and educational opportunities. This tablet would also allow the Kenswed team to create a volunteer program where people from all over the world can offer virtual classes, tutoring, and mentorship to these girls.
By supporting this initiative, you’re not just providing material support, but you’re also giving these girls a chance to break free from the cycle of poverty, trauma, and limited opportunity.
